Walking the aisles at NAMM 2019, there were so many great products and musicians competing for your attention that it is easy to miss something in a blink of an eye. That’s probably why Furch Guitars had a beautiful Harley front and center at the show. This also gave them a great platform to showcase their unique Little Jane foldable travel guitar. Made from solid Western Red Cedar and African Mahogany, this acoustic marvel assembles and disassembles quickly with a lever locking system.

Frantisek Furch started building guitars in Czechoslovakia during the ’70s. By the early ’80s, he had established his reputation as a top-rate builder of custom instruments, but it wasn’t until the collapse of communism in Czechoslovakia that Furch was able to offer his craftsmanship to the world.

Fast-forward to 2019 and Petr Furch is carrying on the tradition and showcasing Furch Guitars for the first time at NAMM. Even in the midst of the crowded floor with lots of sounds emenating from neighboring booths, it was easy to hear the clear, true sound when we played a model from Rainbow series ourselves. These are custom designed guitars made from a staggering combination of beautiful woods of your choice.
