The Violet Performance EM a is designed for discerning acoustic players who prioritize stage performance, maximum playing comfort, and the most natural amplified tone. The soundboard of the guitar is made of carefully selected Engelmann spruce, whose excellent acoustic properties are further enhanced by our innovative individual soundboard voicing process. The back and sides are crafted from African mahogany, a tonewood known for its warmth and balance. Together, these materials produce a well-balanced, dynamic sound with clear highs, warm bass, and long-lasting sustain, making the instrument equally suitable for delicate fingerstyle passages as well as more assertive flatpicking or strumming.
To ensure outstanding performance on stage, the guitar is equipped with the LR Baggs Stagepro Element system, delivering a highly natural, studio-quality amplified sound that faithfully captures the instrument’s acoustic character.
In addition to several dark appointments, the natural appearance of the Violet Performance EM a is further highlighted by our Open-Pore Finish, which leaves the pores of the wood exposed and allows the tonewood to resonate more freely. Playing comfort is further elevated by the Bevel Duo ergonomic feature, carefully integrated into both the top and back plate, significantly reducing arm and rib pressure and ensuring exceptional comfort even during prolonged performances. For improved orientation during live performance, the guitar also features linear position markers on the side of the fretboard, allowing for quick and intuitive navigation across the neck under any lighting conditions.
Discover Your Sound With Individual Soundboard Voicing
Our unique voicing process fine-tunes each soundboard to perfection, resulting in guitars that consistently deliver crystal-clear, harmonically rich tone. This precise adjustment ensures a balanced and dynamic sound across the entire tonal range, allowing your music to truly come alive.
Make Every Note Shine With Furch’s Resonance Enhancing Finish
Every Furch guitar features our uniquely developed ultra-thin lacquer that not only protects, but also enhances your instrument’s natural resonance, creating a richer, fuller sound that brings out the true character of each note. Additionally, it highlights the wood’s natural beauty, ensuring your Furch guitar is as visually stunning as it sounds.
Bevel Duo for extra comfort
The Bevel Duo ergonomic feature, consisting of two bevels—one at the forearm and one at the rib position—significantly enhances player comfort and elevates the instrument’s exclusive appearance. Utilizing modern 3D printing technology in conjunction with traditional wood shaping, we achieve maximum precision in its creation.
Built to Play, Engineered to Last With Furch CNR System® Active
The Furch CNR System® Active neck design takes our original CNR System® to the next level, offering unparalleled stability and precision for players who demand consistent performance. This innovative design adapts seamlessly to changes in humidity while maintaining perfect playability, ensuring your guitar feels and plays the way you want it to—every time you pick it up. Featuring a dual-action truss rod encased in a rigid carbon structure, the system is further enhanced by a solid-wood expansion element that automatically adjusts the neck angle to maintain consistent string action over time. It minimizes the need for costly, time-consuming neck resets and eliminates maintenance concerns, giving you the freedom to adjust your setup quickly and easily and allowing you to immerse yourself fully in the joy of playing—because that’s what truly matters.
Excellent playability
The Brankowood® fretboard of the guitar is equipped with special shortened frets which deliberately do not extend to the edge of the fretboard. This prevents them from protruding due to fretboard shrinkage at lower humidity. The resulting area contains a flexible ebony-colored filler, which can perfectly absorb any changes.
Contrasting black details
