The Yellow Performance SR a is designed for discerning players who prioritize stage performance, maximum playing comfort, and the most natural amplified tone. The soundboard of the guitar is made of carefully selected Sitka spruce, valued for its clear, balanced tone, strong projection, and wide dynamic range, all further enhanced by our innovative individual soundboard voicing process. The back and sides are crafted from Indian rosewood, a tonewood prized for its deep bass response, rich overtones, and exceptional tonal complexity. Together, these materials produce a full, dynamic sound with warm lows, well-defined mids, and shimmering highs, offering excellent articulation and balance across the entire tonal spectrum. This makes the instrument equally well-suited for strumming, flatpicking, fingerstyle playing, and solo performance.
To ensure outstanding performance on stage, the guitar is equipped with the LR Baggs Stagepro Anthem system, delivering a highly natural, studio-quality amplified sound that faithfully captures the instrument’s acoustic character. Combining the Element undersaddle pickup with the Tru-Mic microphone, the system provides excellent tonal depth, clarity, and responsiveness, making the Yellow Performance SR a a reliable choice for players who want their amplified sound to remain as close as possible to the guitar’s natural acoustic voice.
The elegant appearance of the Yellow Performance SR a is highlighted by our Full-Pore High-Gloss Finish, which enhances the resonance of the instrument while offering exceptional surface protection. The instrument also features a green abalone rosette, black and white binding and purfling, an “Eclipse” circular inlay design made of white pearl, and a transparent pickguard, all of which contribute to its sophisticated and refined visual identity.
Playing comfort is further elevated by the Bevel Duo ergonomic feature, carefully integrated into both the top and back plate, significantly reducing arm and rib pressure and ensuring exceptional comfort even during prolonged performances. For improved orientation during live performance, the guitar also features linear position markers on the side of the fretboard, allowing for quick and intuitive navigation across the neck under any lighting conditions.
Discover Your Sound With Individual Soundboard Voicing
Our unique voicing process fine-tunes each soundboard to perfection, resulting in guitars that consistently deliver crystal-clear, harmonically rich tone. This precise adjustment ensures a balanced and dynamic sound across the entire tonal range, allowing your music to truly come alive.
Make Every Note Shine With Furch’s Resonance Enhancing Finish
Every Furch guitar features our uniquely developed ultra-thin lacquer that not only protects, but also enhances your instrument’s natural resonance, creating a richer, fuller sound that brings out the true character of each note. Additionally, it highlights the wood’s natural beauty, ensuring your Furch guitar is as visually stunning as it sounds.
Bevel Duo for extra comfort
The black Bevel Duo ergonomic feature, comprised of two bevels – one in front, at the forearm and one in the rear, at the rib position, provides a significant increase in player comfort and also enhances the exclusive appearance of the instrument. We use modern 3D printing technology during its creation which allows us to manufacture it with maximum precision.
