The Blue Performance SW a is designed for discerning players who prioritize stage performance, maximum playing comfort, and the most natural amplified tone. The soundboard of the guitar is made of carefully selected Sitka spruce, whose naturally strong dynamics, clear articulation, and broad tonal range are further enhanced by our innovative individual soundboard voicing process. The back and sides are crafted from black walnut, a tonewood known for its warmth, clarity, and balanced response. Together, these materials produce an open, versatile sound with defined lows, transparent mids, and crisp yet musical highs, making the instrument particularly well-suited for expressive strumming, dynamic flatpicking, and articulate fingerstyle playing.
To ensure outstanding performance on stage, the guitar is equipped with the LR Baggs Stagepro Element system, delivering a highly natural, studio-quality amplified sound that faithfully captures the instrument’s acoustic character.
In addition to several dark appointments, the natural appearance of the Blue Performance SW a is further highlighted by our Open-Pore Finish, which leaves the pores of the wood exposed while ensuring maximum resonance. The instrument also features a double ring rosette with a black walnut inlay, black body binding, and a black pickguard, all of which contribute to its clean and understated visual identity. Playing comfort is further elevated by the Bevel Duo ergonomic feature, carefully integrated into both the top and back plate, significantly reducing arm and rib pressure and ensuring exceptional comfort even during prolonged performances. For improved orientation during live performance, the guitar also features linear position markers on the side of the fretboard, allowing for quick and intuitive navigation across the neck under any lighting conditions.
Discover Your Sound With Individual Soundboard Voicing
Our unique voicing process fine-tunes each soundboard to perfection, resulting in guitars that consistently deliver crystal-clear, harmonically rich tone. This precise adjustment ensures a balanced and dynamic sound across the entire tonal range, allowing your music to truly come alive.
Make Every Note Shine With Furch’s Resonance Enhancing Finish
Every Furch guitar features our uniquely developed ultra-thin lacquer that not only protects, but also enhances your instrument’s natural resonance, creating a richer, fuller sound that brings out the true character of each note. Additionally, it highlights the wood’s natural beauty, ensuring your Furch guitar is as visually stunning as it sounds.
Bevel Duo for extra comfort
The black Bevel Duo ergonomic feature, comprised of two bevels – one in front, at the forearm and one in the rear, at the rib position, provides a significant increase in player comfort and also enhances the exclusive appearance of the instrument. We use modern 3D printing technology during its creation which allows us to manufacture it with maximum precision.
Built to Play, Engineered to Last With Furch CNR System® Active
The Furch CNR System® Active neck design takes our original CNR System® to the next level, offering unparalleled stability and precision for players who demand consistent performance. This innovative design adapts seamlessly to changes in humidity while maintaining perfect playability, ensuring your guitar feels and plays the way you want it to—every time you pick it up. Featuring a dual-action truss rod encased in a rigid carbon structure, the system is further enhanced by a solid-wood expansion element that automatically adjusts the neck angle to maintain consistent string action over time. It minimizes the need for costly, time-consuming neck resets and eliminates maintenance concerns, giving you the freedom to adjust your setup quickly and easily and allowing you to immerse yourself fully in the joy of playing—because that’s what truly matters.
White Pearl Linear Position Markers
For easier fretboard orientation on stage and under any lighting conditions, the fretboard is adorned with white pearl front dot inlays and side linear position markers. Together, they improve fingerboard navigation while enhancing the guitar’s stylish appearance.
Stylish dark appointments
The soundboard of the Blue Performance SW a is adorned by a rosette featuring a double ring with a black walnut inlay. Black color was also used on body binding and pickguard.
