The Red Deluxe LR a is designed for discerning acoustic players who seek maximum playing comfort and the pure, unplugged character of a finely crafted instrument. The soundboard of the guitar is made of carefully selected Alpine spruce, whose clarity, headroom, and dynamic responsiveness are further enhanced by our innovative individual voicing process. The back and sides are crafted from Indian rosewood, a tonewood prized for its deep bass response, rich overtones, and exceptional tonal complexity. As with all models in the Red Series, not only the top but also the back soundboard is individually voiced, resulting in a highly responsive and tonally refined instrument. Together, these materials produce a full, dynamic sound with warm lows, well-defined mids, and shimmering highs, offering excellent articulation and balance across the entire tonal spectrum. This makes the instrument equally well-suited for delicate fingerstyle playing, expressive solo work, and articulate, responsive strumming.
To further support the natural acoustic performance of the instrument, the Booster Soundport acoustic resonator placed in the side of the body enhances sound projection and allows the player to perceive more of the guitar’s resonance directly while playing. This results in a more immediate and immersive acoustic experience, particularly valued by players focused on the pure, unplugged sound of their instrument.
The luxurious, refined appearance of the Red Deluxe LR a is highlighted by our Full-Pore High-Gloss Finish, which enhances the resonance of the instrument while offering exceptional surface protection. The instrument features Hawaiian koa binding with a contrasting white line, abalone body purfling with black and white lines, and a koa wedge with contrasting lines at the tail. The premium rosette combines koa and abalone in a solid ring design, while the bridge and fretboard are made from figured ziricote. White pearl Roman numeral front inlays and linear side position markers further contribute to the instrument’s sophisticated and distinctive visual identity.

Beauty of exotic wood
The luxurious look of the Red Deluxe LR a is underscored by a figured ziricote bridge, fretboard, and headstock overlay. The body, fretboard, and headstock feature koa binding with a white contrasting line. Koa was also used on a tail decoration and a premium rosette with abalone inlay.
Transparent protection
The soundboard is protected by a transparent pickguard that allows the natural beauty of the wood to shine through. The pickguard is designed to have no effect on the tonal qualities of the soundboard.
Pearl fretboard inlay
The fretboard of the Red Deluxe LR a is decorated with pearl inlays of Roman numerals, which together with the side linear position marks also help to increase the visibility of the individual positions.
Excellent machine heads
The guitar has an excellent tuning stability courtesy of Gotoh 510 Silver Patina machine heads with polished ebony buttons and a highly precise 1:21 gear ratio.
