Remarkable sound
Sound is the most important consideration for Furch guitars. Their excellent acoustic qualities are the result of state-of-the art technologies, proprietary production processes and precision craftsmanship combined with the use of the best available tonewoods. The Blue Plus Master’s Choice is no fluke. Hear its exceptional sound quality for yourself with Tonepedia’s app. You can compare its unique sound with other Furch models and also guitars from other manufacturers.
Unique voicing process
The premium nature of the Blue Plus Master’s Choice is underscored by the fact that the soundboard is individually tuned using our proprietary voicing process that enhances the instrument’s tonal properties to the highest level. Thanks to that, the Blue Plus Master’s Choice has a crystalline clear, harmonically rich, balanced, and highly dynamic sound across the entire tonal spectrum.
Exceptional finish
The soundboard of the instrument is protected by our proprietary Full-Pore High-Gloss Finish, which has been developed to enhance the tonal properties of the guitar body. The finish consists of an ultrathin layer of highly resistant lacquer that provides excellent surface protection and accentuates the structure of the wood at the same time. The back and sides feature Open-Pore Finish, a special thin finish that promotes the natural tonal qualities of tonewoods and provides an excellent level of surface protection. The finish accentuates low frequencies and produces a natural woody sound.
Built to Play, Built to Last With Furch’s CNR System®
The Furch CNR System® neck design offers unmatched stability and precision. With a dual-action truss rod encased in a rigid carbon structure, it allows for smooth and fine adjustments, ensuring optimal playability and a setup that lasts, so your guitar always performs at its best.
- A fully adjustable dual-action truss rod for highly precise adjustment of the neck bow in both the convex and concave directions.
- A highly rigid carbon casing that maintains the neck in the set position over a period much longer than is the case with standard neck joint designs and, at the same time, facilitates a gradual bow in the neck, a factor of essential importance for playability.
- A casting made of special alloy located inside the neck heel that ensures a stable position of the neck and its angle vis-à-vis the body.
Amber binding
The stylish amber look of the cedar soundboard is underscored by faux tortoise body binding.
Rosette made from walnut
The soundhole of the Blue Plus Master’s Choice is adorned by a rosette featuring a double ring with a black walnut inlay.
Transparent pickguard
The soundboard is protected by a transparent pickguard that allows the natural beauty of the wood to shine through. The pickguard is designed to have no effect on the tonal qualities of the soundboard.
LR Baggs Stagepro Element pickup
The Blue Plus Master’s Choice comes with LR Baggs Stagepro Element, which is an upgraded version of the LR Baggs Element Active System – Volume Tone Control. The additional features of the Stagepro Element include a side-mounted preamp with a three-band equalizer and phase inversion as well as a sensitive onboard tuner. With a clean classy look, the Stagepro Element pickup system provides easy battery access and includes Garrett Null notch filter that delivers a warm pristine sound even under the most challenging conditions.
Maximum protection
The guitar comes with a first-class soft case featuring additional shell reinforcements in the walls. It provides a high level of protection thanks to soft padding and solid reinforcing panels, and offers excellent ergonomics and carrying options, including side and front carry handles and shoulder straps.
