Glen Hansard is an Irish singer, songwriter, actor and guitarist for the Irish group The Frames. He also formed the duo The Swell Season along with Czech singer and pianist Markéta Irglová, and recorded 2 albums. In 2006 they starred in the Irish indie movie “Once”. The song Falling Slowly from the film won the Oscar for the best original song.
