Vintage Forty Five LT a
A Rare Combination of Exceptional Tonewoods
At the heart of the Vintage Forty Five lies the combination of an individually voiced AAA-grade Alpine spruce soundboard and Honduran rosewood back and sides. Honduran rosewood is a rare and highly sought-after species admired for its striking figure, remarkable harmonic richness, and powerful yet balanced tone. As befits this exceptional instrument, not only the top but also the back soundboard is individually voiced using our proprietary voicing process. While individual top voicing is a hallmark of every Furch guitar, individually tuning the back plate is reserved only for our most exclusive instruments. Working together, the two voiced soundboards deliver extraordinary responsiveness, refined tonal balance, and exceptional projection.

The Vintage Forty Five features our Full-Pore Vintage Finish, developed to combine outstanding acoustic performance with the visual charm of well-preserved vintage instruments. Using our proprietary finishing and final buffing process, the ultra-thin UV-polymerized lacquer receives a subtle hand-brushed appearance inspired by the natural patina found on fine guitars from the early twentieth century. Beyond its distinctive aesthetics, the finish remains exceptionally thin and flexible, allowing the carefully selected tonewoods and individually voiced soundboards to resonate with maximum efficiency.
Anniversary Details Crafted from Premium Natural Materials
The Vintage Forty Five distinguishes itself through a series of exclusive anniversary appointments designed specifically for this commemorative edition. Carefully selected solid Hawaiian koa, solid padauk, and white pearl are combined into a bespoke anniversary motif that appears consistently across the instrument.

The custom inlay design adorns the ebony headstock, continues along the ebony fretboard as elegant position markers, and is echoed once again in the ebony bridge, creating a refined visual identity that unifies the entire guitar. Premium abalone purfling, solid koa body binding, and a matching rosette further enhance the guitar’s luxurious appearance.
Vintage Character Down to the Finest Detail
Every element of the Vintage Forty Five has been selected to reinforce its distinctive personality. Warm copper-colored frets complement the guitar’s vintage-inspired aesthetics while providing a smooth, polished playing surface. Gold Patina Gotoh SE700 machine heads complete the instrument’s understated elegance with hardware that looks as timeless as it performs. Combined with the Full-Pore Vintage Finish, these carefully considered details give the instrument a character that feels both historic and unmistakably contemporary.

Production is strictly limited to 45 instruments worldwide across the available Dreadnought and Orchestra Model body shapes. Combining rare tonewoods, exclusive anniversary craftsmanship, and our most advanced acoustic technologies, the Vintage Forty Five stands as a fitting tribute to 45 years of Furch Guitars.
