A New Spectrum of Expression
At Furch, we’ve always seen the guitar as more than just an instrument. To us, it’s a deeply personal tool, an extension of the musician’s creative voice. That’s why our commitment to innovation has always centered on making the acoustic guitar more responsive, more musical, and more connected to the player.
“With the new Spectra Plus Series, we are taking a step further in this direction. Alongside musical expression, we are now expanding the possibilities for visual expression as well,” explains Petr Furch. He continues: “I completely understand a musician’s need to deliver the perfect show on stage, both sonically and visually. We all go to concerts to share an unforgettable experience with our favorite artists, and that experience is never limited to just one sense.”
The Spectra Plus Series was created with this very idea in mind. It offers players not only our renowned tonal performance and advanced construction features, but also a bold and carefully crafted visual identity. By combining signature Furch innovations like individual soundboard voicing, resonance-enhancing finishes, and the CNR System® Active neck joint with a curated range of vibrant color options, Spectra Plus opens up new ways to stand out not just sonically, but visually too. Whether you’re on stage, in the studio, or playing for yourself, Spectra Plus gives you a new spectrum of expression.

Same Signature Features, New Striking Look
Underneath each Spectra Plus top is the engineering excellence Furch is known for. Every model features:
- Individually voiced Engelmann spruce soundboard for brightness, clarity, and dynamic responsiveness
- CNR System® Active neck joint for long-term neck stability and built-in string action adjustability
- Resonance-enhancing UV-cured finishes that protect the tonewood and amplify tone
- A choice of African mahogany (EM) or Indian rosewood (ER) back and sides for tonal variety
These innovations deliver the kind of projection, balance, and tonal richness you’d expect from a high-end Furch, now wrapped in a bold visual style that makes a statement.
Eight Colors, Two Distinct Personalities
To give the Spectra Plus Series its standout visual character while preserving the aesthetic identity of a Furch guitar, we developed a selection of eight distinctive color finishes: Ricasoli Yellow, Maranello Red, Siena Amber, Capri Blue, Baltic Blue, Provence Violet, Bled Emerald, and Connemara Green. Each finish is applied to the top using our proprietary UV-polymerized Full-Pore High Gloss Finish, which enhances both appearance and tonal response.

In contrast, the back and sides are treated with an Open-Pore Finish that incorporates the same resonance-enhancing base coat but leaves the natural texture of the wood exposed. This creates a compelling visual and tactile contrast between the glossy top and the more organic feel of the body, enhancing both aesthetics and tonal integrity.
The overall design is further refined with subtle binding details: the Spectra Plus EM (with African mahogany back and sides) features artificial tortoise binding, while the Spectra Plus ER (featuring Indian rosewood back and sides) is adorned with artificial ivory binding. These elements complete the series’ bold, expressive look, designed for musicians who want their guitar to reflect both their sound and their style.
Pick Your Voice And Your Color
The Spectra Plus EM combines Engelmann spruce with African mahogany, offering a warm, woody sound with strong midrange definition. The Spectra Plus ER pairs Engelmann spruce with Indian rosewood, delivering a deeper bass, sparkling highs, and a lush harmonic bloom. Each version is available in Grand Auditorium Cutaway (Gc) and Orchestra Model Cutaway (OMc) body shapes to suit different styles of play and feel.
