Individually Voiced, Inside and Out

Every Master’s Choice model features a torrefied spruce top, carefully aged through our proprietary in-house heat-treatment process. Torrefaction gives the wood a darker, warmer appearance and enhances its tonal maturity and responsiveness, producing a rich, open sound from the first note. Both the top and back soundboards are individually voiced—a level of attention usually reserved for our most exclusive instruments. By fine-tuning each plate to bring out its acoustic potential, our master luthiers achieve the balance, projection, and dynamic range that let master musicians express every nuance of their playing, while preserving the individual character of each guitar. A distinctive Master’s Choice inlay at the 19th fret provides a subtle visual signature.

Our Flagship Features, Brought Together

All five guitars share a Gc Grand Auditorium body with a Venetian cutaway and Bevel Duo contours at the forearm and rib positions for greater playing comfort. The bevels reflect the character of each model line, with black appointments across the Violet, Blue, Green, and Yellow models and Hawaiian koa on the Red. Integrated into the side of each guitar, the Booster Soundport directs more of its natural sound toward the player for greater clarity, detail, and immediacy. Linear side position markers aid fretboard orientation in changing light, while the CNR System® Active neck joint helps maintain consistent playability and makes string action adjustment straightforward. Each model is completed with a resonance-enhancing UV-polymerized finish suited to its series, from Open-Pore to Full-Pore Satin and Full-Pore High-Gloss.

Five Distinctive Interpretations

Each model pairs these shared features with the tonewoods and appointments of its Color Series line. Violet combines torrefied Engelmann spruce with African mahogany; Blue pairs torrefied Sitka spruce with black walnut; and Green, Yellow, and Red feature torrefied Sitka spruce with Indian rosewood. All five come with factory-installed LR Baggs electronics: Violet, Blue, and Green feature the HiFi system, while Yellow and Red feature the HiFi Duet, which adds a Silo microphone for greater ambience, dimension, and control over the amplified sound.
