Carbon footprint of Red Pure SR
Before 45.6 kg
After 2020 18.2 kg
The Red Series is synonymous with the highest class of our guitars, which are truly uncompromising in terms of the materials and components. The Red Pure SR is made of premium Sitka spruce used on the soundboard and Indian rosewood on the back and sides. Both plates undergo our innovative voicing process, which in conjunction with the material used gives the instrument a beautiful, versatile sound with clear and open tones.
The beauty of the tonewood is underlined by a resonance enhancing satin finish and a number of decorative details, led by a redheart purfling and koa rosette, binding and position markers. The guitar comes enclosed in a highly durable, thermally insulated Hiscox case.
Remarkable sound
Sound is the most important consideration for Furch guitars. Their excellent acoustic qualities are the result of state-of-the art technologies, proprietary production processes and precision craftsmanship combined with the use of the best available tonewoods. The Red Pure SR is no fluke. Hear its exceptional sound quality for yourself with Tonepedia’s app. You can compare its unique sound with other Furch models and also guitars from other manufacturers.
Discover Your True Sound With Furch’s Voicing Process
Furch’s unique voicing process fine-tunes each soundboard to perfection, resulting in guitars that deliver crystal-clear, harmonically rich tones. This precise adjustment ensures a balanced and dynamic sound across the entire tonal range, allowing your music to truly come alive.
Make Every Note Shine With Furch’s Resonance Enhancing Finish
Every Furch guitar features our uniquely developed ultra-thin lacquer that not only protects, but also enhances your instrument’s natural resonance, creating a richer, fuller sound that brings out the true character of each note. Additionally, it highlights the wood’s natural beauty, ensuring your Furch guitar is as visually stunning as it sounds.
Beauty of exotic wood
The luxury look of the Red Pure SR is further enhanced by a combination of fingerboard, bridge and headstock overlay made from figured ziricote. The body, headstock and fingerboard of the guitar are bound with koa with a white contrasting line, complemented by a redheart body purfling. In addition to binding, we also used koa for the ring rosette and tail decoration.
Built to Play, Built to Last With Furch’s CNR System®
The Furch CNR System® neck design offers unmatched stability and precision. With a dual-action truss rod encased in a rigid carbon structure, it allows for smooth and fine adjustments, ensuring optimal playability and a setup that lasts, so your guitar always performs at its best.
- A fully adjustable dual-action truss rod for highly precise adjustment of the neck bow in both the convex and concave directions.
- A highly rigid carbon casing that maintains the neck in the set position over a period much longer than is the case with standard neck joint designs and, at the same time, facilitates a gradual bow in the neck, a factor of essential importance for playability.
- A casting made of special alloy located inside the neck heel that ensures a stable position of the neck and its angle vis-à-vis the body.
Unconventional position markers
White pearl side position markers combined with unconventional rectangular fingerboard inlays made from koa improve fingerboard orientation and enhance the guitar’s exclusive appearance.
Excellent machine heads
The Red Pure SR has an excellent tuning stability courtesy of Gotoh 510 Silver Patina machine heads with polished ebony buttons and a highly precise 1:21 gear ratio.
High-rigidity Hiscox case
Maximum protection during transport is provided by a high-rigidity Hiscox case with polyurethane insulating foam that shields the instrument from changes in external climatic conditions.
